On April 2, 2023, Vishvas.News, the IFCN-certified fact-checking wing of Jagran New Media hosted "Tools Review 2023", a workshop for South Asian fact-checkers by the award-winning author and journalist, Craig Silverman. The goal of the workshop was to equip fact-checkers with the most up-to-date tools to combat misinformation, on the occasion of International Fact-Checking Day, 2023. The event saw participation of several professional fact-checkers from the South Asian region. Silverman, one of the world's leading experts on debunking online dis/misinformation and content verification, shared the latest fact-checking and digital investigation tools with the participants.
