AI Usage Policy & Disclaimer

At Vishvas News, we are committed to the accuracy of information and transparency. In our newsroom, modern technology and AI tools are utilized based on the following principles:

1. Editorial Oversight

We clarify that the final editing and verification of every article, report, or analysis published on our portal is performed by human editors. AI is used solely as an assistant in the writing process (e.g., for grammar correction, translation, Summary or research) and not as a replacement for journalistic judgment.

2. Transparency & Labeling

If the primary outline of an article or any visual content (Images/Illustrations) is generated by AI, we clearly label it as “AI-Assisted” or “AI-Generated”. Our goal is to inform readers about the extent of technology’s role in the content they consume.

3. Fact-Checking

AI tools can sometimes produce incorrect facts or data (Hallucinations). Therefore, it is the policy of Vishvas News that no information obtained from AI will be published without cross-checking it against reliable primary sources.

We utilize AI tools at various stages of our fact-checking process to enhance efficiency. However, to ensure absolute accuracy, we adhere to a strict “Maker-Checker” system.

Initial Verification: Any data or claim identified or processed by AI is treated as a preliminary draft (the ‘Maker’ stage).

Mandatory Re-verification: No AI-processed information is published without rigorous human re-verification against primary sources.

Final Approval: A senior editor (the ‘Checker’) must independently validate the facts to eliminate any risk of AI hallucinations or errors, ensuring that the final output meets our high standards of journalistic integrity.

4. Advanced Content Authentication

To combat the threat of misinformation and deep fakes, we employ advanced AI detection technologies as part of our rigorous verification workflow:

Multi-Tool Substantiation: In addition to relying on a single tool, we utilize a suite of other globally accessible AI detection tools. To minimize the risk of false positives or errors, we never rely on a single tool; instead, we substantiate and cross-reference results from multiple platforms before reaching a final conclusion.

Human-in-the-loop: All automated detection results are reviewed by our forensic experts to ensure that no synthetic or manipulated media is passed off as authentic.

5. Educational Use & AI Literacy Campaigns
As part of our commitment to digital literacy and public awareness, we occasionally create representative Deepfake content strictly for educational purposes.

Objective: The sole intent of such content is to demonstrate how Deepfake technology works and to educate our audience on how to identify synthetic or manipulated media.

Non-Harmful Intent: These demonstrations are designed to be entirely harmless and are never intended to mislead, defame, or impersonate individuals for malicious gain.

Explicit Disclosure: All such educational materials are accompanied by clear, prominent disclosures and watermarks, ensuring the audience understands that the content is a simulated example created for learning purposes.

6. Zero Tolerance Against Deepfakes and Misleading Content

We do not use deepfake technology to alter any individual’s image, voice, or video. We do not promote any synthetic content intended to mislead the public or damage anyone’s reputation.

5. Copyright and Privacy

We fully respect third-party copyrights and data privacy while using AI. We do not share our readers’ personal data to train AI models.
