New Delhi (Vishvas News). A video is going viral on various social media platforms. It shows a Muslim woman firing a pistol at a young man riding a motorcycle. It is being claimed that the man was stalking the young woman on a bike, after which she pulled out a pistol and opened fire.
Many users are sharing the video, believing it to be real. Vishvas News investigated the authenticity of the viral video in detail, and it turned out to be fake. It is an AI-generated (Artificial Intelligence) video and is being made viral with a false claim.
What is going viral?
Facebook user ‘Manish Sharma’ uploaded a video on June 30, 2026, writing, “The molester got into trouble for harassing a woman walking alone on the road. The woman took out a pistol and fired a shot in the air; he ran away with his tail between his legs.”

The text overlaid on the video reads, “The fierce form of women power: The molester was stunned.”
The content of the viral post is reproduced here verbatim. Many users are sharing it, believing it to be true. An archived version can be viewed here.
Investigation
Vishvas News first created some keywords based on the viral video and searched them using the Google Open Search tool. We couldn’t find a single news report of any young woman openly pointing a gun at her stalker. If such a thing had happened, it would have definitely appeared in the news.
Progressing the investigation, we extracted several keyframes of the viral video and searched them using the Google Lens tool. We couldn’t find the video anywhere else, except on social media.
This video was first uploaded by an Instagram handle on June 27, 2026. We found several AI videos that were similar to the viral video on the handle named ‘viral_mix_daily’.
During our search, we also found the same video on a verified X handle named ‘Wild Clips’. It was uploaded on June 28, 2026. The post clearly states that the video was created using AI.
Based on this, we checked the viral video using some deepfake detection tools. The video was first analyzed using ‘Hive Moderation‘, and its analysis confirmed a 79% probability of the video being created with AI. According to this analysis, the video was most likely created using the ‘Seedence2’ model, an AI video generation tool.

Similarly, six out of nine detectors of UB Media Forensic Lab’s ‘Deepfake-O-Meter‘ indicated a high probability that the video was AI-generated. The ‘AVSRDD’ (2025) detector, and the ‘DSP-FWA’ detector classified the video as AI-generated with 100 percent score. The ‘TALL’ detector gave a 95.7 percent chance, the ‘WAV2LIP-STA’ detector 83 percent, the ‘XCLIP’ detector 75.6 percent and the ‘AltFreezing’ detector an 82.5 percent chance of it being made of AI.

For further confirmation, we contacted the ‘Deepfakes Analysis Unit’ (DAU), an initiative of our partner, the TIA (formerly the MCA). They shared analyses of several other detection tools with us.
‘Site Engine’s’ analysis indicated a 78 percent probability that the video was AI-generated.

Vishvas News further investigated and contacted AI expert Azhar Machwe and shared the viral video with him. He explained that if the video is carefully examined, it appears to be created by AI, as at the beginning one of the biker’s legs suddenly disappears and reappears. Similarly, all the bikes in the video are the same in color. Such inconsistencies are common in AI-generated videos.
What is the context?
Reports of crimes against women are reported daily in the country. A June 30, 2026, ‘Amar Ujala‘ report stated that in a village in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, some youth allegedly forced a young woman to drink acid after she resisted molestation.
Conclusion: Vishvas News investigated and found that the video of a young woman firing a pistol at her stalker was created using AI. No such incident occurred. Our investigation found the viral post to be false.
