Fact Check: This Video Of Orca Attack On Jessica RadcliffeI Is AI-Generated, Not Real

New Delhi (Vishvas News): A video featuring a woman sitting on a whale during an aqua show is going viral on social media. In the next clip, the woman is seen in the whale’s mouth. Now some users are sharing this video as real, with claims that the name of this woman is ‘Jessica Radcliffe’, who was killed by an Orca (killer whale) during the show.
Vishvas News investigated the viral post and found this claim to be fake. The viral video is not real and is AI-generated. The video is now being shared with a false claim, leading people to believe it is true.
What’s in the viral post?
Facebook user Punjab Sian (archive link ) shared the viral video and claimed, “Orca trainer Jessica Radcliffe’s terrifying final moments – captured on video.”
Investigation
To verify the viral video, we searched using relevant keywords and found several news reports stating that the video was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI). One similar report on Dainik Jagran’s website, published on August 13, 2025, stated, “This video is made by AI and the video is being shared with a fabricated claim.”
On August 11, 2025, we found a report on the ibtimes.co.uk website, stating that no such incident occurred, nor was there any mention of it in any official media report. The viral video is AI-generated and is being circulated with false claims.
Similarly, a report published on the economictimes website on August 14, 2025, stated, “This video is completely fabricated, neither is there any trainer named Jessica Radcliffe nor is there any evidence of any such incident. This footage has been generated by AI, which is being shared with false information.”
As part of our investigation, we analysed a screenshot of the video using the wasitai.com tool, which identified it as AI-generated.
We then ran the video using the Cantilux tool, which identified it to be 66% AI-generated. Further analysis with Hivemoderation and Decopy.ai also found the video to be AI-generated.
We shared the video with AI expert Azahar Machwe, who confirmed that the whale seen in this video appears unrealistic, the woman’s hands and fingers are distorted, and the background figures are blurred, indicating that the video is AI-generated.
Finally, we scanned the Facebook account of the user who shared the video and found that the user has over 3000 followers.
Conclusion: Vishvas News, in its investigation, found that the whale attack video is not real, but AI-generated. News reports also confirm that the story of Jessica Radcliffe is completely fabricated. The AI-generated video is now being shared with false claims, making people believe it to be real.
