New Delhi (Vishvas Team). A viral social media video featuring former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claiming to be a devotee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going viral on social media. Many users are sharing it, believing it to be genuine.

Vishvas News investigated and found that this claim is false and the video has been edited. In the original video, Kejriwal referred to himself as a devotee of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, not PM Modi.

What’s going viral?

Facebook user ‘DK Gupta’ shared this video, in which Kejriwal says, (translated from Hindi) “Friends, I don’t consider myself just a fan of Modi ji; I am his devotee. I read a lot about him earlier, but when I went to jail, I read his biography many times. Reading about his life is very inspiring. The struggle he faced is immense. Very few people have struggled so much in life. It is inspiring to see where this ordinary man has reached.”
