Investigation

To investigate the claim, Vishvas News carefully reviewed the viral video. The footage features a deep freezer with meat scattered on the ground. At first glance, the meat appeared to be of an animal. However, no such video has surfaced in connection with the Meerut murder case.

To investigate further, we extracted key frames from the viral video and conducted a reverse image search using the Google Lens tool. After extensive searching, we found the video uploaded as a YouTube short dated March 22, 2025, with the username @HAPPY.TYAGI.587 mentioned.

Following this lead, we searched for ‘@HAPPY.TYAGI.587’ on Instagram and found a user by the name of Happy Tyagi. Upon examining his profile, we found the original video posted on his timeline on October 29, 2024.

Dainik Jagran’s Meerut edition, dated March 19, 2025 reported that a woman named Muskan, along with her lover Sahil, murdered her husband, Saurabh. Later, the body was dismembered using a knife, and the remains were placed in a plastic drum, sealing it with cement and water. Currently, both the accused are in jail.

This clearly indicates that the viral video predates the Meerut incident.

To investigate further, Vishvas News contacted Happy Tyagi and shared the viral post with him. He explained that in October last year, he received information from an informer about large-scale illegal meat slaughtering at a house in Surajpur. Acting on this tip, he raided the place with the help of police, registered a case, and had all the accused arrested.

In the end, we investigated the user who posted the fake post. It was discovered that Manoj Kumar, the individual behind the post,  has over 5000 Facebook followers and is a resident of UP.

Conclusion: Vishvas News investigated and found the viral post to be fake. The video dates back to October 2024, when a large quantity of meat was found in a house in Surajpur, Greater Noida. The same video is now being falsely linked to the Saurabh murder case in Meerut.
