Fact Check: Video Of Gaza Attack Victims Falsely Shared As Footage From Pakistan
Vishvas News investigation revealed that the video showing individuals injured after an attack on a school in Gaza in April is being falsely shared as footage from Pakistan. This video has no connection with ‘Operation Sindoor’.

New Delhi (Vishvas News): Following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India launched targeted air strikes on the terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). Since then, tension has increased between the two countries. Amid this, a video is being shared on social media, claiming to feature the aftermath of the Pakistani action. Damaged buildings and injured people can be seen in the video.
Vishvas News investigated the viral post and found it to be false. The video is from Gaza City and not Pakistan. It features the aftermath of the bombing at Dar al-Akram school, where several people were reportedly killed.
What is going viral?
Facebook user Navneet Kumar Singh uploaded a video on May 7, 2025, with the caption, “Friends, the other name for destruction is the Indian Army, they entered your homes and killed you, your graves have been dug, your father sitting on the throne of Delhi is Modi!”

Investigation
To verify the authenticity of the viral post, Vishvas News extracted several key frames from the video and conducted a reverse search using the Google Lens tool. This led us to the same video uploaded on an Instagram handle on April 4, 2025, by a young man from Gaza, appealing to the world to support him. This original video can be seen here.
We found a related video on the Instagram handle of Nasma Alijamala, a resident of Gaza. It was uploaded on April 4, stating it features the Dar al-Akram school in Gaza.
Further investigation led us to a BBC report, dated April 4, which confirmed that Dar al-Arqam school in the Tuffa district of northern Gaza was bombed, where dozens of people were injured and several lives were lost.
Vishvas News furthered the investigation by contacting Nasma Alijamala, a resident of Gaza. She confirmed that the viral video is from Gaza.
