Fact Check: Video Of Lebanon Shooting Falsely Shared As Jaipur Incident
The video being circulated as a shooting near Jaipur’s Jagatpura Airport is false. The footage actually captures an incident that occurred on the Damour-Al-Saadiyat Road in Lebanon.

New Delhi (Vishvas News). A video showing three vehicles and individuals exchanging gunfire on a road is circulating on social media with claims that this happened near Jagatpura Jaipur Airport.
Vishvas News investigated and found that the viral video is from Lebanon and has no connection to Jaipur.
What is the viral post?
Instagram user ‘sanjay_educare’ posted the video (archive link) on October 20, 2025, with the caption, “Jagatpura Jaipur Airport.”
Investigation
To verify the viral claim, we checked the keyframes of the viral video using Google Lens and found a post by Instagram user ‘jb.press’, dated October 13, 2025, where a longer version of this video was posted. The post states, “A Mount Lebanon officer and an employee were injured in an ambush while searching for a wanted man on Damour-Al-Saadiyat Road.”
A post by Lebanon’s Annahar Newspaper on October 13 identified the incident as an ambush on the Damour-Al-Saadiyat Road in Mount Lebanon, where a Mount Lebanon officer and an employee were injured while searching for a wanted suspect.
The same video was also posted by the X-handle of Moscow News, confirming that the video is from Lebanon.
According to a report published on ETV Bharat’s website on October 12, 2025, “Half a dozen miscreants attacked a young man with sticks and rods in broad daylight in Jagatpura, under the Khoh Nagorian police station area of Jaipur, and then shot him in the legs. The young man has been admitted to Sawai Mansingh Hospital in critical condition. Another young man was also injured in the attack.”
Independent Jaipur-based journalist Santosh Kumar Pandey confirmed that while a separate attack involving violence and a leg injury from gunfire was reported in Jaipur’s Jagatpura area on October 12, 2025, the viral video footage does not correspond to that incident.
Lastly, we scanned the profile of the user claiming the Lebanon video to be from Jaipur and found that the user has 20000 followers.
