New Delhi (Vishvas News): A video allegedly showing Prime Minister Narendra Modi praying in traditional Muslim attire is going viral on social media.
Users are sharing the video across various platforms to target the Prime Minister. However, Vishvas News conducted a detailed investigation and found that the video was generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
What is going viral?
Instagram user mramir_kkb posted the video on March 14. The caption reads “Allah instructed Modi ji.”
Investigation
Vishvas News carefully analysed the viral video circulating in the name of PM Modi to verify its authenticity. Several anomalies were observed. When the hand was raised for prayer, its shape appeared distorted. Similarly, PM Modi’s beard could be seen growing suddenly within the clip. These inconsistencies clearly indicated that the video was manipulated. Based on these signs, it was evident that the video was AI-generated and not real.
In the next step of investigation, we extracted the key frames of the video and checked it on AI check websites named AgItAI and WasItAI. he results from these platforms indicated that the video was likely AI-generated.
For more information, Vishvas News contacted AI expert Ansh Mehra. He confirmed that the video was AI generated.
At the end of the investigation, we scanned the profile of the user who posted the fake video. This Instagram handle is followed by 1116 people. This account was created in June 2017.
Conclusion: Vishvas News investigated and found the viral post to be fake. The viral video of PM Modi has been created with the help of AI tools.
