New Delhi (Vishvas News): A fake screenshot purporting to be from US President Donald Trump’s Truth Social account has gone viral, showing a post where he supposedly demands people to “STOP CALLING ME NAMES” and lists nicknames like “TACO,” “Man-Baby,” and “Don the Con” that he “will not tolerate.” The fabricated image is complete with a verified checkmark and thousands of “ReTruths.” Many users are sharing this screenshot, thinking it is real.
Vishvas News investigated the viral claim and found it to be wrong. Trump did not upload any such post on Truth Social Media.
What is in the viral post
Facebook user Donald Trump Jail Tracker (archived link) shared the post on June 2, 2025. The alleged Truth post reads “STOP CALLING ME NAMES! I will not tolerate being called TACO, Ole YamTits, Orange Shitgibbon, Man-Baby, Tiny Hands, Diaper Don, Mushroom Dick, Toupe’d Fucktrumpet, Trumplethinskin, Diaper Don, Grifter-in-Chief, Don the Con, DonOld, The Lyin’ King, Rug-wearing Thundernugget, Farty-Seven, The Orange Shitler, or That Orange F**k! Don’t make me throw ketchup at the wall, because I will.”
Investigation
Starting our investigation, Vishvas News first scanned the Truth Social profile of Trump. We could not find the viral post anywhere.
We also scanned the archives of the page, but could not find this post even in the deleted posts.
We also scanned Trump’s Truth, a website that archives all posts, including deleted ones, from Trump’s official Truth Social account. We found no record of him ever posting this content.
Next, Vishvas News spoke to JP Ranjan, a correspondent covering international news for Dainik Jagran. He said that he had not seen any such post from Donald Trump, nor had he come across any credible reports of such a statement.
We have also reached out to the White House regarding the authenticity of the post. This story will be updated as soon as a reply is received.
It’s worth noting that there are many websites readily available online that allow users to generate highly convincing fake social media posts.
The post was shared by a Facebook page named Donald Trump Jail Tracker. The page is followed by almost 2 lakh users.
