New Delhi (Vishvas News). A claim is going viral on social media using a video of Kajal Aggarwal along with several other clips, alleging that the actress died in a car accident. Many users have shared this claim, believing it to be true.
Vishvas News, in its investigation, found the viral claim to be fake. Kajal is completely healthy. She herself has denied the viral claim by sharing a post on social media.
What is going viral?
Instagram user vikas4562024 shared the viral post on September 8, 2025, with the caption, “Miss you kajal agarwal”, and the text on the video reads: “Rest in peace Kajal Agarwal. Kajal Agarwal is no longer among us, friends.”

Investigation
To verify the authenticity of the viral claim, we conducted a Google search using relevant keywords. We came across a related report on Jagran.com, published on September 8, 2025. The report stated, “Kajal has broken her silence after the news of the accident and death of actress Kajal Agarwal went viral on social media. She has denied the rumours and appealed to the people not to trust such false news and not to share it further.”
Continuing the investigation, we checked Kajal Aggarwal’s social media handle. On her verified Instagram account, she shared a story, stating, “I’ve come across some baseless news claiming I was in an accident (and no longer around!) and honestly, it’s quite amusing because it’s absolutely untrue. By the grace of god, I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well. I kindly request you not to believe or circulate such false news. Let’s focus our energies on positivity and truth instead.” (Hindi translation: I came across some baseless news claiming that I had an accident (and am no more in this world!) And to be honest, this is quite funny because it is absolutely false. By the grace of God, I want to tell you all that I am absolutely fine, safe. I request you not to believe such fake news or share it further.”
As the investigation progressed, we analysed the clips used in the viral video. The first clip was from Shefali Jariwala’s funeral.
The clip featuring Ram Charan and his wife in the viral video dates back to December 2023. We found it in a report by Jagran.com, published on December 20, 2023. According to the information given, “Ram Charan, along with his daughter and wife Upasana, visited the Mahalaxmi temple in Mumbai.”
The video of actor Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram dates back to May 28, 2024. The viral video was shared on Pinkvilla’s verified Instagram account on May 28, 2024, with the caption, “Actor Jr NTR reached NTR Ghat to pay tribute to his grandfather and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) on his 101st birth anniversary.”
We shared the viral post with Smita Srivastava, Senior Correspondent of Dainik Jagran, Mumbai. She confirmed that the viral claim is fake and clarified that Kajal is absolutely fine.

Finally, we scanned the Instagram profile of the user who shared the post and found that they frequently share similar content.
