Fact Check: Rabri Devi Did Not Call Muslims And Yadavs ‘Slaves’, Fake Quote Goes Viral
Vishvas News investigated and found the viral post to be fake. The investigation revealed that former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi never made any statements regarding Muslims and Yadavs as slaves.

New Delhi (Vishvas News). A statement attributed to former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi is circulating on social media. It claims she described Muslims and Yadavs as her slaves. This post was widely shared amidst the Bihar elections, spreading propaganda against her.
Vishvas News investigated the matter thoroughly and found the claim to be baseless. Rabri Devi never made any such statement.
What is going viral
A Facebook user named ‘Shahbaz Afridi Aimim’ posted on October 29, with the caption, “Muslims and Yadavs are our slaves: Rabri Devi.”
The post, using a picture of Rabri Devi, read, “Muslims and Yadavs are our slaves. They will never go against the RJD.”

Investigation
Vishvas News first used the Google Open Search tool to investigate the viral statement attributed to Rabri Devi. A keyword search found no news stories that could corroborate the viral claim. Had she made such a statement, it would have been widely covered by the media, and we found nothing of the sort online.
During our search, we found some of the latest news about Rabri Devi related to the Bihar elections. A news report published on NavbharatTimes.com on November 3rd reported that Rabri Devi blessed Tej Pratap Yadav, who is contesting from Mahua, saying that she had expelled him from her home, not from her heart.
Apart from this, election-related videos were found on Rabri Devi’s official social media handles, but the statement related to the viral post was not found anywhere.
Vishvas News contacted Arun Ashish, the state bureau chief of Dainik Jagran, Bihar, during its investigation and shared the viral post with him. He confirmed that Rabri Devi never made any such statement.
Vishvas News also contacted RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari, who confirmed that the viral post is completely false. Rabri Devi has never said anything negative about Muslims or Yadavs.
Lastly, we verified the Facebook account of the user who posted the fake post and found that the user has over 5000 followers. The user frequently shares political posts. We couldn’t find any more information about the account.
Conclusion: Vishvas News investigated and found the viral post to be fake. The investigation revealed that former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi never made any statements regarding Muslims and Yadavs as slaves.
