New Delhi (Vishvas News). A viral post on social media alleges that Bollywood actor Ajaz Khan spoke against Hindus and made India an Islamic country.
Vishvas News investigation revealed the claim is fake. Ajaz Khan has not made any such statement as in the viral post.
Facebook user ‘Deepak Malviya’ shared a post with a picture of Bollywood actor Ejaz Khan that reads, “No matter how many Hindus build a Ram temple, remove 370 from Kashmir, run a bullet train, and increase GDP. After 10 years, everything will happen to Muslims because our population explosion is making India an Islamic country – Ajaz Khan.”

We searched on the Internet for viral statements using several keywords. We could not find any news about Ajaz Khan giving any such controversial statement. We scanned Ajaz Khan’s Twitter handle and we found a tweet he posted on August 10, 2020. In the video of that tweet, Khan has spoke about the viral claim. “Some people are making viral statements in my name that I hate this country and Hindus. All of this is wrong.” The full video can be seen below.
We contacted our colleague and Chief Correspondent for Bollywood Smita Srivastava in Dainik Jagran to verify the claim. Rejecting the viral claim, she said, “The viral post in the name of Ajaz Khan is completely fake.”
Social scanning of Facebook user Deepak Malviya who shared fake post revealed that he has 36,948 users followers.
Conclusion: Actor Ajaz Khan has not made any statement against Hindus or about India becoming an Islamic country. The viral quote in his name is fake.
