New Delhi (Vishvas News). The US Department of Justice recently released nearly three million pages of documents, along with thousands of videos and photographs, related to the investigation of convicted criminal Jeffrey Epstein. Several prominent personalities have been mentioned in these documents. An edited photograph claiming to show UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with two women has surfaced online. The image is falsely attributed to the Epstein files.

What is being claimed in the viral post?
Facebook user ‘Gaurav Pandey’ shared the viral post on February 1, 2026, and wrote, “Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has also been caught in the Epstein files… He used to visit the private island on Epstein’s invitation for enjoyment. #EpsteinFiles.”

Investigation
To begin our investigation, we first searched the viral image using Google Lens using different keywords and cropping the image. This led us to a photograph uploaded on a Facebook page named ‘Save Morocco’ on January 25, 2012. In the original image, a different person can be seen. According to the available information, the individual’s name is Chamakh.
Based on this, we continued our investigation and found the same photograph in reports published in 2013 on the news website ‘Hesport’ and in 2014 on the website ‘Hesport’. However, both reports contained information related to the Moroccan Football Federation and did not mention details about the photograph.
The difference between the viral edited image and the original photograph is seen in the collage provided.
To verify the viral image, we contacted senior correspondent Jai Prakash Ranjan, who covers international affairs at our associate organisation, Dainik Jagran. He also confirmed that the viral image is fake.
What are the Epstein files?
The US Department of Justice has made public millions of pages of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sexual offences. According to reports, these files include texts, videos, and photographs that mention connections between several influential personalities and Epstein, as well as his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
According to a BBC report, “Epstein died in 2019. However, even six years after his death, the Epstein files continue to cause trouble for governments, leaders, businessmen, and prominent personalities worldwide.” The report further states, “Three million new documents related to the Epstein files have been released. Some material had already been made public earlier, including photographs. Previously, thousands of documents related to Epstein’s estate were released, most of which were emails. In September 2025, a birthday book was released that included a note bearing Trump’s name. However, Trump denied writing the note.”
Next, we conducted a social scan of Facebook user Gaurav Pandey, who shared the false post and found that the user has 13,000 followers.
Conclusion: Vishvas News, in its investigation, found that the claim circulating on social media is false. The viral image is edited and has no connection to the Epstein files or UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. We found that the original photograph belongs to another person and has been present on social media platforms since 2012.
